Visual Projects

Throughout my public relations education, I have had the opportunity to work on projects with a design and visual focus. The following projects stretched me creatively while helping me gain experience in various Adobe products.

Views Magazine • Nonfiction Video

Views Magazine

For VIS 207: Introduction to Graphic Design, I was tasked with creating any magazine of my choice, and my love of traveling inspired me to create Views Magazine. This project is composed of a cover, a four-page spread feature story (originally designed using a real article), and an infographic. Completing this assignment allowed me to explore my creativity, real-life passions, and hone my skills using Adobe InDesign and Illustrator.

Nonfiction Video

The project for my multimedia storytelling class was originally supposed to be group-based and highlight a local organization, but due to the COVID-19 crisis cutting our time on campus short, I had to switch gears and work with the limited resources I had at home. For this film, I interviewed my mom about her experience during the early days of the pandemic. This project utilized my creativity, my ability to think on my feet in less than ideal situations, and my experience with Adobe Premiere Pro.
